Seedbed Roll

The Seedbed Roll - English Summer Salad. Ever wondered how commercial salad growers produce perfect leaves??

The secret is the Seedbed Roll, an all-in-one grow mat, seed and polytunnel developed in England for commerical growers and now available for the kitchen garden. Once rooted the Seedbed Roll only needs to be kept moist for complete success. It is important however that you prepare a fine seedbed to achieve good contact between the mat and the ground. Any lumpy or stony soil is not good but if you are worried you may not be able to achieve this then the matting can be cut to any size and grown on compost in a container.

Contains Lettuce Red Batavia, Green Batavia, Tango Lettuce & Cos lettuce and you should be able to cut up to the equivalent of 50 supermarket bags of lettuce. Measures 12ft x 1ft (3.6m x 30cm) but as said previously can be cut to size.
